The season is finally shifting. The last few days have brought cooler mornings and days.The break is so very welcomed in these parts. Those who walked around with frowns and cranky faces are starting to crack smiles. Pleasantries are more easily exchanged replacing the nod and the seemingly obligatory “humph”. The spark of possibility is more evident in the eyes.
Sure, I realize that soon enough the bitching about the cold of Winter will prevail. But the present milder state of the weather and the disposition that it brings for now is worth counting.
