… I put my mug in the microwave. I then went about the business of getting Mum her breakfast. Once completed I went back to the office, sat in front of the computer and thought to myself, “Boy, this would be a perfect morning for a coffee.”
A couple of hours later I returned into the house to heat up Mum’s lunch. Pop open the microwave and my mug of coffee stares back at me mockingly, “Hey buddy, would have been a good morning for a mug of coffee, doncha think?” Yeah, it’s been one of those mornings.
The sun came out blazing early this morning but is now playing a game of hide and seek among the clouds. My laundry however hangs patiently to get dry. I’m hoping at least the light breeze will help get the job done… if there actually was one.
So, as of noon on this Saturday… that’s my story. And yes… I’m sticking to it… for now. It could change in a bit… I’ve just ordered pizza.
