First I want to once again give a Big Thank You to all of you who have communicated your wishes from all over the world. I do… when I see Mum communicate this to her as well. I know she is gratified… she says so by saying “Thank You.
If you have left messages of any sort that I have yet to respond or reply to… please forgive me. I hope these updates make up for it.
In all probability she will be discharged into hospice home care early in the coming week. The nurse I spoke to today says her vitals are strong. I shared with them that it is probably because of all the walking that she did all these years here in Fresno.
I took Ces And Jaq in this morning to wish her good bye before dropping them off at the train station. She responded and smiled when they kissed her. After the train station I went back and sat with her again. Took a break to go home to feed the dogs… caught a short nap then returned again for the rest of the afternoon and early evening.
I am getting as much rest as I can… while I can as I know the days ahead will be full. Yes, I am making sure to get nutrition in as well. I will miss Ces and Jaq. Their presence here this week has been a major boost to my spirits. My gratitude includes all of you who shared your presence while they were here. We chatted, reminisced, laughed, ate and drank. I know Mum was glad they were here.
There are more details to take care of… but for tonight the plan is to rest.
