They are on my tomato plants. Though… all in all it has not been a good vege growing season for me. With other things on my mind I really haven’t been giving sufficiant care to them. Still… bloody mites! I’m going to spray them with dish washing soap and water. Figured if the aphids don’t like that neither will the mites. On the flip side… my lemon cucumbers have come out and are quite delicious.
I was pretty useless yesterday. Actually, I’m getting weary of being useless. I guess that’s a good sign. The week before I had the excuse that the temps were just too hot to do anything meaningful. Not so much this week (the use of the excuse, that is) and it’s just building up a restlessness in me. Though I am still not quite ready to jump in headv first into any commited insanity just yet.
There have been guys up on the telephone/power poles (off and on) behind my house for the last couple of weeks. This of course has been driving my dogs crazy. So, I have to constantly “shush” them every 5 minutes or so. Speaking of dogs… they killed another squirrel yesterday. That is twice in two weeks. Their rodent killing prowess is still at a high level… makes me feel like a proud papa.
I suppose I should get on with the day. There are some items to be prepped for mailing. If I get those done today… an early morning visit to the post office tomorrow will be in the cards for me. At least that will make me feel somewhat useful and accomplished.
