The last couple of mornings have been nice and cool around these parts. A nice break from the triple digit temps we have been experiencing for the last 3 weeks that usually also started the days in a bit of a swelter.
The result has been a less urgent need to get the outside chores accomplished before noon. Plus there is a quiet delight to feel the cool air roll in early in the AM when I open the doors.
In an ongoing effort to change up my routine I went out to ArtHop yesterday. No furrows on the brow or squinting eyes as the temps were really quite comfortable on this excursion. My friend Aileen was showing her works on the 11th floor at the Fresno Pacific Towers which also provided a terrific vista of the surounding area. Ran into all sorts of friends there… guess they were also enjoying the milder weather.
It’s cool today too. So, a hot coffee in the morning will be in the cards for me as I plan out the day. It’s all worth counting, isn’t it?
