Da Count – our last weekend

Spread the love

dacountYep, 2 more shows to go before we close. I’m glad I did it for a myriad of reasons. Doing it was part of my bounce back. I got to retool the show… though I’m still not taking it on tour as some have suggested.

Good but small audiences so far. The next couple of performances hold the promise of a bigger house. And once it is all done I will probably not be on stage for a long while. Of course, I will hear the lamentations of “sorry I missed it_____(insert standard excuse here)_____”. Tough. LOL. That’s how it goes.

For my part… I had a good time. I got to flex some muscles that I haven’t in quite a while. I got to learn… that’s key. I always try to do that (learn, that is) with whatever I undertake. On this endeavor the exercise was part “review” and part “further enhancement” to the knowledge base.

So, that is my count this week. The good part of this being the last 2 performances is that I will then dive into new projects. That is always exciting.

2 more shows. Come pack the house.
