I was tuckered out…

Spread the love

… by the time the evening rolled around. A day of web work and meetings (both the face-to-face variety as well as via the phone) really wore me down. I even moved rehearsals an hour later just to give me room to catch my breath. It’s a good thing that we have a crack stage-manager who really handled most of it for me last night. As a small reward we went to the local Baskin Robbins after and had the Tiramisu ice cream served there. MMM… perfect way to end the day.

BAD BLOGGER KOW TOW

Yes, I have been a bad blogger… especially in the visiting sector… let alone replying to select comments. Hope you forgive my absence but there are still miles to go before I sleep… so to speak. My handlers inform me that I should be back out and about again soon enough. In the meantime… thanks for coming by and for commenting… I really do appreciate it.

FRIDAY NIGHT IMPRESSIONS

Right after the show several theatre friends came up to me to offer advice and impressions on the show. They were pretty emphatic with what they shared. I will be the first to admit that the show was not up to optimum. Most of it had to do with the challenges of the venue… and if you read what I wrote on the show site you would also know that we were visited by Mr. Murphy. Anyway, the point I was (eventually) getting to is that I appreciated the feedback because if they really didn’t care I wouldn’t have received any.

More later… perhaps.

EDIT: 8:30 AM

I have to say that one of my favorite segments with NBC’s coverage (which we can all quibble about) of the Olympics are when Al and Matt of the Today Show try their hand at an event. Here… enjoy.
