Tech rehearsal last night was… well… Johnnie is gonna be great. For my part there is still retooling to be done… both on the show and my performance.
So that means a flurry of rewrites this morning and spending the rest of the time before opening committing it to my noggin. My friend, RP, remarked last night, “Dude… you had that sucker down!” Well, yeah… I did… 4 years ago. This is going to be a slightly different show. (Hopefully better.) Part of the problem is I am still in “playwright mode”. It is something I need to shed by noon today if I am going to be any good when we open.
Perhaps I should sit in the blue devil to rehearse like I did 4 years ago. (Shuudup, APJ!)
