even more impressions of my SF weekend

Spread the love

Figured I would finish this off since I’ve stretched it over 3 postings.

  • Woke at 6ish and was checked out of the hotel by 7.
  • Didn’t leave the hotel until 7:30. Had a coffee from the Starbucks in the lobby where I stood in line behind a short, bald guy in a bathrobe and a blue bikini.
  • Back in The Mission by 8 and set up for the morning’s shoot which was broken up in 2 halves.
  • During the break I roamed the Mission a little more. As I walked I noticed cop cars and an ambulance up ahead. As I got closer I saw a woman in her 50’s strung out… the cops were helping her.
  • At 4 PM once the second half of the shoot was complete I packed up and caught the BART to the Embacadero.
  • By 5:15 I was boarding the train back home in Emeryville.
  • By 5:25 discovered that I was on the “capital corridor” train… yep, the wrong train.
  • Disembarked at Martinez where I got on the right train.
  • The one impression I remembered on the way back was a kid on a bike at a crossing saluting the train as it passed.

So, that was my trip. Poetry in the mundane, eh?
