… they pull me back in again. OK… sort of but not really. This is the cast of “Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet)” having a read-through under my gazebo/canopy last night. Last Friday the cast of “The Godling” was rehearsing in the same place. I’m really not involved in any of these productions. Just because I’m not involved in theatre… doesn’t mean I can’t support it in whatever way I can. In this case… rehearsal space. Good to see (independent) shows happening in da Big NO though.
On a related but sadder note… Fresno lost a theatre luminary in Nancy Miller who passed in her sleep Tuesday Night. She will be dearly missed both professionally and personally. My heart goes out to my friend and mentor Terry who was her husband, best-friend and collaborator.
On a brighter note… check out my friend, Kim’s site called “Faces of Fulton”. I think she has the start of something really cool.
As for me… I head out to Michigan in a couple of days for a video shoot. More about that when I return. I may even shoot a “Notown Motown” video as referenced lately by this while I’m there.
It’s Mum’s birthday today… she would have turned 88. I think there is definitely cake involved where she is… probably chocolate with butter frosting.
