it needed it

Spread the love

My stove in the kitchen, that is. A good cleaning. So, I spent the latter part of the morning and the early afternoon armed with simple green, gloves and a scrub pad to get the job done. I even lifted the burners and cleaned under it. (A 1 to 1 bleach/ water solution does wonders to also cut the grease.) Impressed? You don’t have to be. I’ll be impressed for all of us… which I am.

Now I really wasn’t planning to do this today… it was just a wild hair I caught while I was in the kithen about to do the dishes… which ironically hasn’t been done yet. LOL. I find that these sudden urges (at least in the cleaning department) actually takes the impending feeling of drugery out of it, don’t you?  (Yeah, my friends will counter that these sudden urges are few and far between.) But as a result I get extremely detailed and thorough with the process instead of allowing the “this will do for now” attitude to stymie the task. Anyway, the stove is now clean.

FINAL REHEARSAL… AND IT’S OPEN THEN CLOSES

Yep… it the last one for TALE END. Tomorrow morning the cast sets off to SF for the final 3 shows at the Fringe. It’s been fun… particularly from the stand point of development though I do think I am done with the show. I hope they get good houses and end their run well.

Depending on how Mum does over the next couple of days I may be able to go up Saturday. A few friends are pitching in and taking shifts to Mum sit.

Now let’s see what wild hair I get today.
