because the vege-beds were ready and planted by Saturday. Here is a little pictorial tour.
First, the view I get from my office door.
Next… the “front bed” featuring… (top-left to right) thai basil and cilantro… (center-top to bottom) eight-ball squash and papaya-pear summer squash. Yeah, thought I’d try something different this year.
The middle bed (left of pic-top to bottom)… tomato galore featuring stripe, celebrity and early girl.
Back bed (clockwise from top left) lemon cucumber, burpless cucumber, japanese cucumber, burpless cucumber and jalapeno pepper.
At least one of my dogs… Guido seems happy about all of this.
And the turtle-doves were busy sunning themselves on the fence.
There are plans to also put in dill, regular basil and lemon-grass.
